Interested in working together?Funded by the Prototypefund, I developed in a team of 4 on a software for foodcooperatives: Foodsoft. In 2023 I became one of the maintainer.
As a non profit organisation we help public-interest groups to gain more digital souverinity
by providing and improving open source applications and infrastructure.
We work self-organized and use sociocratic tools to work on equal footing.
We are developing a collaboration plattform based on opensource applications,
powered with docker-swarm.
That for we are part of the coopcloud.tech community.
We maintain a HCI server cluster with Proxmox and Ceph.
Besides that we published in oktober 2022 a study
on digital collaboration in small ngos.
As a working student I first helped for a short period an IoT team building a city-wide LoRaWAN network. For the rest of the time I was a DevOps-Engineer in a self-organized team building a Smart-City Platform. Some of my activities were:
Freifunk is a community driven free and open wireless mesh network. As one of the maintainer in the Freifunk Lübeck Community I mainly administrate Servers with ansible and build custom wirelessrouter firmware with a framework called Gluon based on OpenWRT. Part of my activity is also organizing community gatherings, installing mesh routers and planning rooftop installations.
RISC-V is a new, open and free Instruction Set Architecture. Not only in industry RISC-V attracts great attention, but also in academic education it becomes more and more popular. This work will show how parts of the class Technical Foundations of Computer Science can be realized in RISC-V Architecture. Therefore assembler programs are presented on the development board Hifive1RevB and compared to the so far used AVR assembler on the ATmega16. Above all, RISC-V being an open standard offers many advantages. For instance, a special on education designed RISC-V core can be used. Overall, RISC-V is a modern, modular and simple architecture that can be integrated into educational practice.
During my studies I teached students C & Assembler programming on AVR Microcontrollers in practical labs.
